Entry Information
Come join the Hoot Owl Scramblers for the first recreation ride of the 2013 season, in memory of Bill Hallson- one of the original Hoot Owl members.
We have 50-60 miles of trail “under construction” in anticipation of this kick-off ride! We’re anticipating miles of back roads and nice trails with optional hero sections.
When: Sunday, April 28, 2013
Where: Arrowed from State line of RI & CT on Rt 44
Start: Sign up from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 – Bikes will not go out before 9 a.m.
Fee: $35 (NETRA membership required).
Other Event Information
Rules: All bikes must be registered and street legal, with licensed rider aboard. There will be a sound test and tech inspection. (See the NETRA rule book on-line for the standards)
Gas/food: gas truck will be set up for you about ½ way. (water and snacks at check points)

Entry Information
The Rock Ride covers our traditional 75-Mile loop through Pachaug State Forest or a 100 plus-Mile Dual Sport Ride through dirt roads and easier sections of the Pachaug Loop.
Open track time provided on the Motocross track after completing the Run. Bring a second bike and turn some laps after the
Turkey Run/DS ride! Gas is available midway through trails & marked on your route sheet.
Food and beverages will be for sale from 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
Primitive Camping site will open on Friday, May 10. Gate opens at 5:00pm and
will be locked at 11:00pm
Saturday, May 11, Sign‑Ups & Bike Inspections begin at 7am. Trailboss’ Meeting is from 8:45-9:00am.
Requirements
Must be a NETRA member to participate (a one-day NETRA pass for non-members is an
additional $25 fee).
The Turkey Run and Dual Sport Event is $30.
If you choose to ride the track only, recreational riding from 10am to 5pm for a $30 fee (and, if applicable, a one-day
NETRA pass for $25).
300 bike limit for the open practice. You are allowed to sign up Friday evening from 5pm to 9pm.
No three or four wheeled ATVs allowed for the Open Practice session.
Registration & Equipment
All motorcycles in the Turkey Run or Dual Sport Event must be fully registered, insured, possess a silencer for forest use, and pass a sound test.
Track Bikes must be fitted with a Silencer.
ALL RIDERS SHOULD WEAR THE APPROPRIATE SAFETY EQUIPMENT FOR TRACK AND WOODS RIDING!
HAVE YOUR BIKE INSPECTED BEFORE ENTERING THE SIGN UP LINES!
